Micro pavé
Micro pavé is a very finely set version of ‘traditional’ pavé [from the French word to pave] where diamonds are used to seamlessly cover a surface in diamonds.
With micro pavé, the setting is so fine that the effect is like gossamer each stone is set by hand under x 40 magnification, logically we know there is gold holding each stone in place, however it is almost invisible to the naked eye.
In our Eclipse Wide Ring we have over 270 diamonds, each using a minimum of 2 prongs – that is an unbelievably over 500 tiny prongs in each ring!
