Chrysoprase
Varying from a greenish yellow to a beautiful apple green, chrysoprase is a variety of chalcedony, which is itself part of the quartz family. It derives its colour from nickel impurities. Darker varieties of chrysoprase are often referred to as prase, a term also used to describe green quartz.
