We launched Annoushka on 29th July 2009 and I can’t quite believe we are already celebrating our first anniversary. Since launching we have opened 10 boutiques and concessions across the country, including our flagship boutique on Cadogan Gardens, London. This year is also rather special in that it is 20 years since I started in the jewellery industry and 20 years since I got married!
Designing the collections and opening the boutiques over the past year has been really enjoyable and rewarding, if not a little exhausting at times! With all of the boutiques I wanted to create a place where women could come and see an eclectic array of jewellery, I wanted them to feel as if they were walking into a gallery, always able to find something new and exciting. My aim was to enable women to build a collection of modern and classic jewellery that could be worn alongside their existing pieces, giving them a very personal jewellery wardrobe. I love having my studio behind the Cadogan Gardens boutique as I meet our customers and help them choose their jewellery, which really motivates me and helps me understand their changing needs and desires.
At the moment I love to mix a few of our Mythology Pendants on our Seed Pearl Chain and have a selection of Eclipse rings, see my favourite selection of jewellery at the moment.
It has been an incredible first year and I am constantly working on new designs, ideas and concepts for the future collections. I hope you have enjoyed discovering our designers and watching our Annoushka collections grow over the past year.
